What would your 2023 mission trip look like?
Have you ever been faced with an adventure so big you had to stop and catch your breath before having the courage to dive in? Spending the summer on this team will be an adventure. Every day comes with many exciting yet challenging experiences, from living with a local family and sharing your faith to eating bizarre foods and trekking through the jungle. Spending several months with Waterfall is an opportunity to dive deeper than you’ve ever gone before—into a new language, into cross-cultural work and into your relationship with the Lord.
You’ll dive into the process of learning a new language and culture through educational classes, living with a local family, participating in cultural events and experiencing traditional agriculture on a coffee farm. You’ll be stretched and challenged daily by the things you see, the people you encounter and even the foods you eat.
You’ll dive into cross-cultural work which will give you opportunities to share God’s truth and love with people who are hopelessly lost and have not yet heard that they can have a real relationship with a personal God.
You’ll dive into your relationship with the Lord as you receive personal mentorship, training in contextual outreach and church planting, and as you live as a light in a country that has been in darkness for many years.
Amidst the cries of the mosques, God is crying out to the hearts of many people in the Waterfall region and preparing them to hear and receive His Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ. As you build friendships, help locals learn English, live with your local host family, work on a farm, stay overnight in villages and trek through the jungle to visit remote waterfalls with new friends, you will be part of God bringing His Good News to these people through your life and witness.
So...are you ready to dive in?
