What would your 2022 mission trip look like?

Most of the area is Buddhist, with an added flavoring of animism. Temples, or wats, dot the landscape. Often, monks will live at the wat, accepting alms from the locals. Holy days will find local people in the wat as well, listening to chants and attempting to make merit. These are the people you’d be serving this summer if you choose to go on a Thailand mission trip.

And yet, the majority of Thais feel deep down that this is not right, not enough. Many hunger to hear the Word of God and those who receive it do so with enthusiasm. For the time being, Thailand is an open country, with the government being friendly toward Christianity. This, unfortunately, is part of the reason that most of Thailand remains unreached. Many Christians and missionaries live here, but many of those do ministry nearby in more restrictive countries.

Government officials welcome us to use the Bible to teach English and encourage Bible studies. The Thai people themselves are very friendly and welcoming to foreigners. They are friendly especially to those willing to learn about their culture and their life.

You can spend your summer on a mission trip to Thailand and be mentored before you go and while you’re there.

This summer you will have the opportunity to encounter a people hungry for the touch of God. You will have the opportunity to shine a ray of light into a darkened part of the world.
