What is a summer mission trip to Southeast Asia like?

Interested in engaging unreached people but don’t know where to start? This trip is the perfect place for you.

Within our city, you can hear the haunting sounds of the Islamic call to prayer. You can also smell incense from the Buddhist temple. Then, walk up 300 steps into a Hindu cave. Mingle with Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, animists, Sikhs and Christians.

The city is an ethnic melting pot as well. Our business has had employees from Sudan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia, Afghanistan and Somalia.  At the international school and church are students from Syria, Myanmar, Iran, Korea as well as many other places.

With such diversity, teams serving in the country use many avenues for ministry. Teaching. Studying. BAM. Fitness classes. Outreach to refugees/trafficked people.

The only main requirements in coming is that you are flexible and willing to eat—often! Eating is one of the main ways to meet people and begin to share life together. Can’t choose where in the world to go or what language/religion/people to focus on? Come here and meet them all.
