What would your 2025 mission trip look like?
The team you’ll serve with lives among an unreached people group in Central Asia. Most people in the town are nominal Muslims. Few have heard that God loves them or that Jesus died for all. The team desires to see a healthy, vibrant church where believers can live in community, grow in Christlikeness and be a light to those around them.
You will begin the summer by staying in the home of a local family. Homestays are a challenging but rewarding way to learn about the culture, the people and their way of life firsthand.
As part of your weekly routine, you’ll also dive into language learning—learning helpful phrases and getting a taste of what long-term workers experience during the first full year or two of their lives overseas. Teaching English to children will give you opportunities to strengthen the team’s relationships in local neighborhoods and build new relationships in neighboring villages. Serving children and their families could have a profound impact and even open doors to share the love of Jesus with them.
You may have opportunities to jump in and serve through the handcraft business, from photographing products to making tea for the women working there.
You will experience life as a cross-cultural worker through language learning, ministry and participating in team meetings. Team members will disciple and challenge you to grow in your prayer life and personal walk with God. The team looks forward to pouring into you, encouraging you and showing you what living for Christ in Central Asia looks like.
