If you choose to invest your summer in Chad, you will undoubtedly experience hardship. Chad is not an easy place—it has a harsh climate, unfamiliar diseases and a culture vastly different from anything you've experienced in the Western world.

But we are confident that if you choose to invest your summer there with an open mind and a heart seeking the Lord, you will also experience incredible growth in Christ—and opportunities to share your faith freely and openly with unreached Muslims! You will get to live with a missionary family and see what daily life looks like in an African Muslim country. You'll start in the city but also travel to a village where another missionary family will host you and show you the rural side of life and ministry in this place.

You will be able to be embraced by locals with incredibly hospitable, generous hearts. You will have a chance to dip your feet into intensive Arabic language learning with a tutor, as well as turn around and teach English to young men and women hungry for Western relationships and open to hearing what it means to be a Christian, despite their very conservative, strict Muslim backgrounds. In both areas, share your testimony with young Muslims and share freely about the truth of who Jesus is.
